Teacher Training Course

The Teachers’ Training Course (TTC) is a 30 days residential course, based on the ancient gurukula system of India where teacher and student live together. Students will be provided accommodation in Ashram away from hustle and bustle of the city and away from noise and pollution. Our teachers shall be always present in the ashram to assit the students in all kinds of problems or queries they come across while their stay in the Ashram. Our teachers themselves follow the yogic lifestyle and dietstyle and try to set an example for the coming students. Not just the sayings and words but we try to communicate with the action also. The curriculum is extensive and covers both theory and practice. Traditional Practice of Hatha Yoga is always the main focus of the teachings in our TTC

In these four-weeks the student will not only learn the Traditional Hatha Yoga practices for one’s personal growth but also, how to teach all those practice to people who come to them with a hope to grow better with yoga. Not only, physically but mentally also.

With the blessings of Swami Sivananda and his disciples Swami Satyananda, Swami Krishnanda, swami Chidananda and Swami Vishnudevananda and their teachings we are on the path of propagating Yoga, not only as a physical practice but also as a practice for emotional growth, mental growth and spiritual growth.

Artistic Yoga TTC (50 hours)

Certification

Students who successfully complete the course following the code of conduct shall be certified by the worldwide Yoga Alliance for the  200 hours standard for Registered Yoga Schools (RYS).

Pre-requisites

  • Complete Beginner.
  • Basic knowledge of yoga postures and philosophy is helpful but not essential.
  • A high degree of self-motivation and discipline is required for all aspects of the course.
  • To ensure the success of the programme, participants are required to attend all spiritual activities, kirtans, lectures, asana classes, internal yoga class and morning meditation and shatkarma classes.

 

YOGA  VACATION

OVERVIEW

 The Yoga Vacation programme gives the chance to isolate one from external world to dive deeper into self by the practice of Traditional Hatha Yoga techniques. During the stay one can experience the spiritual growth every day.

PROGRAMME

  • Yoga Vacation Aspirants are requested to follow the Shala’s daily Schedule, which includes enough of time for learning, relaxing & exploring inner & outer world and to establish a balance between both.
  • All guests attend evening & morning class with one lecture a day on Yoga Philosophy and Bhagwata Geeta.
  • There are two main meals provided.
  • Satvik and vegetarian dietstyle is followed.

Accomodation

  •  Accomodation provided is dormitory type with divided sectors for each person.
  • Bed, Matress, Bedsheet, Pillow Cover, Blanket and Mosquito net are provided in the Shala.
